And the Craziness Begins...

Tomorrow, once again, begins our nine months of craziness. Somehow this year I thought things would settle down and be a little more normal (last year I was getting my masters, completing my first official year of teaching, working on year one of BTSA, planning a wedding, all the while still trying to maintain a sense of normalcy with my friends and family and Mr. Howard was going to school at Sac City and Cal State Sacramento full time, working full time, and helping to plan a wedding). We essentially passed each other in the kitchen occasionally to say hello and check-in with each other, but really had trouble spending quality time together.

With the wedding out of the way this summer, my masters completed in March, Year 1 of BTSA and my first year of teaching completed in June, I thought it would free us up to spend a little more time together. But, it certainly isn't looking like it. Mr. Howard works five days a week and this upcoming semester, it's looking like his two days off a week will be spent attending class full time. He will not be getting any days off during the weekend (which is, of course, when I have time).

Just like always, we will make do and make this year the best it can be. But if someone can tell me when the craziness will end and how we're supposed to get through the next few years going at the rate we've been going...we're both all ears!!!

Now that is one good question...one I have been asking myself for the past few years! I'm ready for things to just calm down and not be so crazy with something happening all the time. I'm just not sure when it will happen. Since you already have your masters, you're supposed to be telling me how wonderful and calm life is!!!

Hey you two. I know how you feel. Steve and I have been in a whirlwind ever since we have been together also. I do ask myself, when will it slow down? Right now, with the baby, things have slowed a bit for me, but I start school full time in another week, Steve is in the fire academy right now, and then I am looking at going back to work in 10 weeks! AAHH! I guess it is just our season in life to be busy. Ah the 20's. Or are we just gearing ourselves up for the real craziness... school, soccer practices, band rehersals, PTA meetings, etc. :) I would try to grab a weekend, or a day or a night here and there to just be with eachother though. Just be lazy sometimes. Sleep in and cuddle- before you get that big belly that prevents you from spooning for 4 months :)
