Connor's Birthday Party

We decided to do a very low key birthday this year with just family at my parents' house. We knew we wanted to incorporate the pool, so it was a no-brainer to first head over to my parents' new house for some swimming. I, like perhaps some of you, have been wrapped up in the Caylee Anthony trial and it has made me a nervous nelly around the pool. I told my mom as soon as we arrived to her house that we really need to figure out what kind of locks we need to put on the sliders that lead out to her pool.

 The Living Room:
Smash Cake (Mr. Howard's work made it for us)
 Connor's Cake:
Singing Happy Birthday - It's Really Cute...anytime we give Connor sweets now, he sings Happy Birthday! He thinks that if he gets a cake pop everyone should sing to him. Hehe!

 Plowing into the Cake:
This picture below will make more sense when you see what Grandpa was doing in the next photo:
Yep! Grandpa was telling him to rub his cake hands in his hair and Connor was doing it!
THE most hilarious photo! Apparently Connor has turned two and become too cool to take a photo with us! He's talking to his imaginary iPhone friends!
 Hubby, Me, Aiden, Isabella!

Uncle Denny, Connor, Nana, Aunt Katie

 Isabella thoroughly enjoyed the festivities!
 So did Aiden!

 Nana and Aiden:
This was an apron my dad got in Europe! It's the statue of David! Connor had no idea how funny he was!

The picture of Connor with the apron is what got me. A co-worker had to ask me if it that was supposed to have been a sneeze.
