What my husband posted on facebook for my birthday: Happy birthday to the love of my life, the woman of my dreams and the greatest mom in the world! I love you sweetheart, happy birthday!
Aren't I lucky?!?
I had a very, very low key birthday. I didn't want any gift, per se, but I did ask for a few things. I just really wanted the bedroom cleaned (which, we never got to...sleeping took priority) and I really wanted Mr. Howard to photograph the air hockey table so we can sell it (it's just taking up room in the garage). Simple.
We rented two movies: Country Strong (which I absolutely loved) and The Tourist (not really my cup of tea), had ice cream sundaes for lunch, had a yummy pork chop dinner, and hung out. Connor was in preschool during the day, which meant we could watch movies and hang out with the babies and then we spent the evening as a family. When Connor went to bed, Mr. Howard and I had a nice, romantic evening just the two of us (and two newborns...hehe).
Today I got my hair cut and colored, which was my regular treat. =)
Simple. Sweet. Lovely.
