What I'm Loving Wednesday

It is so wonderfully helpful for me to focus on the positives in my life.
I'm going to sort of do this as confessions/WILW.
(1) Fact: We have 12 days left of school and I am READY. I am exhausted and spent and need two months of family time, without having to work full time AND be a mama and wife. Confession: I hate when people say, "I'm a full time mom." I feel like it implies that because I work outside the home I'm a part time mom. What I'm Loving: Summer means I go into the twins' first birthday planning mode!!!

Below: I am loving these invitations:

(2) Fact: I am starting a book club!! I have commitments from four of us, have come up with a schedule and rules, and have already starting pinning book ideas. Confession: I am scared no one will show up and there won't be enough people to call it a "club". What I'm Loving: I love, love, love that I'm going to get a break from bath and bedtime duties one day a month!!!! Maybe I should start a few more clubs. Ha!
Below: I've heard so much about this series:

(3) Fact: The older I get, the more I think I'm not really a summer person. I like the sunshine and the park visits and the happiness in Connor's eyes when I tell him we're going to the pool, but I hate the heat. Confession: Part of why I hate it is because I've gained weight from having babies and I don't want to have to wear less clothes. What I'm Loving: We are for sure going to do private swim lessons for Connor this summer in my mom's pool. I cannot wait!!!

(4) Fact: I am not pregnant. Confession: This is the first summer since 2008 that I have not been pregnant and part of me is going through withdrawals. It's amazing how your brain quickly forgets how much you don't like being pregnant. What I'm Loving: I'm going to have a summer free of swollen ankles, morning sickness, c-section recovery, and babies in the NICU. And I have three beautiful babies who will get to enjoy the pool all summer!!

Too bad I don't live close enough to be part of your book club. That would be so fun. I can't wait to start going to the pool all the time again. I LOVE Texas summers, although parks aren't as much fun when it is 105 degrees ;)

Yay for not having to work during the summer. I agree that it's annoying when people say they're a full time mom. I know they don't mean anything by it, but it's so sensitive for us working momma's! I can't wait to see what you have planned for the twin's party!

The books are great!!! Very long and EXTREMELY descriptive, but still really good. And girl, you look great, but I understand the feeling. I swear I was the same size you were with aiden and isabella, but I only had one in there! People asked me daily if it was twins! Haha! So I completely understand not being excited about summer clothing! With that said, I just went into old navy and they have some really cute flowy dresses :) I will be going back!

I am so glad you are looking forward to a fun summer! How fun to plan a party for the twins! I will make sure I never say full time mom, I don't think I have I think I say stay at home mom, but I will be more aware! That is one thing I love about blogging we get to hear perspectives that we might not hear in person :) Happy Days Ahead!

This was so cute to read. I feel the same way on a lot of things you mentioned. Good for you to start a book club, I think it is definitely important to have a night out with adults and talk about something unrelated to children :)
