What Life is Like

I know people think we're crazy that we take the kids with us on lots of outings during the weekends, but it's our sanity. I always feel better when I've left the house at least once. If one of us has to run an errand, we all go. It gets us out of the house. It teaches them how to behave in public. And apparently we like to torture ourselves.

This was the second time we ever put the babies in the front of the cart at Costco. Seriously. Aren't they adorable?
At target we have discovered these amazing carts below. Connor can stand, which makes him more manageable and we strapped Aiden in with big brother and Connor was thrilled! Aiden...not so much!
We've been working A LOT on sitting up, pulling up, etc. to try to get them interested in crawling or standing. In the morning on days when I'm home by myself with them I put them in their little play
"jail" and let them practice reaching, playing, and sitting.
They aren't quite thrilled about it.
Connor, for the most part, is super helpful, sweet and kind. Has turned into such a helper. If you come over, you'll hear him saying, "Mama, babies need diaper? Babies need milk? Babies need...?" It's very sweet.
The babies have just started fighting. They regularly play tug-o-war with toys and cry when one takes a toy from the other. Right now it's pretty easy to distract them with different toys, but I can see this being an issue when they're older. Eeek.

Can I just say that I love that you take your children out in public. We are always taking ours out and even go out to eat often with all of us. We have some really well behaved toddlers at Resturants now because of lots of practice.

I know i say it every time but your children and just SO adorable!

I remember the days when my kids would fit in a cart, your kids look so sweet. Now I wish I could still buckle them all in it some days. Every shopping trip the kids manage to sneak something extra into the cart without me noticing:)
