Forty-Eight Weeks Old

First, thank you so much for all your sweet comments on the babies' developmental delays. I got emails, notes, and facebook messages offering ideas, help, etc. Thank you!! We are so blessed in our friendships and this blog has provided me so much comfort. I love when Mamas (and the few Dads who read the blog) can support each other!!

Second, we crossed three things off our list. Holy Moly!
We are SQUEEZING the babies into the chairs each week. It's getting T-I-G-H-T. Can you tell?
Izzy got a new tooth this week on the top (which brings her total to three teeth). Aiden got two more teeth!  He got his other front tooth and his other lateral incisor...which means he has four teeth on the top now! Izzy is super close to crawling. She's putting her leg under her body and trying, but she hasn't quite figured out how to use that foot to push herself forward. Aiden and Izzy both do a reverse crawl on their backs. They put their feet on the ground and push themselves around. Aiden even walks with his feet (pushing with his heels one at a time to go faster). It's quite funny.
I looked up information on ALTA early intervention services (thank you so much Courtney for the resources) for the babies last week. I'm going to call and start the process of an evaluation this upcoming week (probably Tuesday). I'll keep everyone updated.
