July 6-7 Our Three-year-old!

On Friday Connor took cupcakes into school. He was SO excited and kept asking me all week if "today" was the day he got to bring "upcakes." I wanted to take a picture of him carrying his cupcakes into school, but he was so afraid he'd drop them. He kept saying, "I can't, Mama. I can't." Hence the scared face.
I frosted the cupcakes at 5am on Friday, so it was dark in the house and it's not the best photo below, but my sister was asking if they were cupcakes or ice cream cones and so I wanted to show her the bottom. These are all the rage right now on pinterest and I certainly was in LOVE with how they came out. I got the idea from HERE and HERE.

On his actual birthday, we began with the traditional Happy Birthday song in our "jamas" (that's what we call pajamas over here). Be prepared to see the most polite, wonderful, joyful three-year-old you have EVER seen. What? You must have seen a different video than me, because I am sure that he was in the best mood ever.
And then, of course, what's a birthday without some photos!

Oh my goodness. Seriously. He's so big!
He got this at school and he was very excited about it!
Strangely enough, he was completely uninterested in his "upcakes" on day 2. How weird. He wouldn't even hold it for a photo.
We spent the afternoon at a friend's birthday bbq. She turned 2! We're going to formally celebrate Connor's birthday when his grandma comes in town!

I finally got into instagram. If you have an account, feel free to follow me @thehowardbunch
