I started a post last week with a re-cap about the babies' developmental doctor appointment, but I just can't seem to finish it. Maybe tomorrow?
Aiden has learned the artful skill of "fake" crying. I was trying to take a picture of the bonk on his head and he didn't want to be still. This picture breaks my heart.
Two seconds later, he was quite happy.
The babies have entered the "messy" stage of playing. They turn over chairs, hang off of curtains, throw dog food out of the bowl, and throw toys around the house.
We tuck the curtains in the blinds so that Aiden can't hang on them. But yesterday, he started trying to play with the blinds too. Whew! He keeps us on our toes.
Isabella is so close to walking. If she had been Aiden or Connor, she would have walked by now. But she is our stubborn girl. She is choosing NOT to walk. She's capable; she just doesn't see the need.
Because the babies are so small, we haven't been able to move them into new carseats. Aiden just turned 20 pounds 0 ounces, so we're getting close. The hubby and I looked at Target's website yesterday (we get 15% off because he's an employee) and it looks like it's going to cost us $800 for four carseats (2 for each of our cars). WHOA. Holy Moly. Welcome to the world of twins! I sorta joked on facebook that I hope the babies like their Christmas presents, but what I meant was, "I hope they like their Christmas presents, birthday presents, and next year's Christmas presents!"
My arms are getting pretty darn tired, though, of carrying two almost 20 pound babies around (plus diaper bags, purses, etc.).
Remember when I said that Aiden and Izzy are talking and talking and talking? I finally captured Miss Isabella Lynn babbling away. You can actually have a conversation with her now. It's so very funny. Here is the video:
