Mr. Howard's brother has served in the Coast Guard for 12 years, moving from state to state - sometimes across the country - to fulfill his military orders. After a long career in the Coast Guard, this year he decided to begin his non-military career. I am so excited for them to be able to settle down where they want, live where they want, and do the things they've wanted to do. They moved to Nevada, which is about a 12 hour drive from us. They so wonderfully called and asked if they could come for Thanksgiving. We were so excited! It was the first Thanksgiving we have ever spent together.
One of the mornings we went to breakfast with Timmy, Amee, Mr. Howard, Connor and Isabella (Aiden was with Aunt Rebecca and Uncle Colin). I mentioned it before, but it is such a big difference when we only had two kids versus three.
Isabella sat and ate an orange slice the entire time we were there. All the kids love oranges.
Hopefully this is just the beginning of getting to see Timmy and Amee more often - now that they live so close!
