Building Our House - First Time on the Second Floor

Everyday everything changes so much! Today I drove past the house and they had already put in all our windows and doors. Ahhh. It's going so quickly! I am just so, so, so excited to move in! We have a meeting next Friday for our pre-drywall walk. So they should be starting drywall right around March 18th!

All these photos were taken on March 3rd. This was the first time we were allowed to go on the second floor (our builder prohibits us from going inside until the temporary support beams come out).

They built in the archway at the front door:
They also put the archway in our butler's pantry. I am standing in the family room looking through our butler's pantry into the kitchen. To the left will be a walk-in pantry and to the right will be cabinets for china, servingware, and/or wine glasses.
We are standing at our front door. Behind us is the formal living room.
We are trying to figure out how we can build a little fort under the stairs. Part of our pantry is under our stairs, so we really only have that rectangle space straight ahead in the picture below. We've talked about maybe leaving it open altogether or maybe even putting a little door there for the kids.
I am standing in the garage (that rectangle in front is for our water heater):
This is our playroom. I am SOOO excited about having a playroom.
 The front of the house:
This is our Master Bedroom. I am standing at the doorway.
This is our His and Hers Entry Walk-in Closet. Can I tell you how excited I am that I will not have to see Mr. Howard's side of the closet (that boy is so stinkin' messy!)?!? The room will be divided by a built-in shoe shelf.
This is the master bathroom (our tub is on the right hand side):
This is the hallway to Connor's room:
 This is Isabella's room:
 This is our Laundry room:
This is Aiden's walk-in closet and Isabella's walk-in closet. They are in separate rooms, but they are back-to-back. Izzy's is on the right.
 This is Aiden's Room:
This is Aiden's room from another angle. I am standing in the kid's playroom at the top of the stairs. That will obviously be a wall.
This is the fireplace in our Family Room (they just framed this out in March!):
Judging by how fast this is all going, I'll probably have another update real soon! For more on our Building a House journey, follow the link at the top of my page.

It is going to be an amazing how for you all! I love that each kid will have their own room! Our hope is that our next house will allow for that! I love seeing the pictures on Instagram and can't wait to see how it all progresses & when you finally can call it HOME!
