Call me mean, but I think it's funny

You know those moms who see their kids freak out near Santa and say, "Oh my kids are afraid of Santa so I'm not going to make them sit on his lap...maybe next year we'll get a picture with Santa" ? Call me mean, but I'm not one of those moms. I am almost afraid to admit this lest I get "you're messing up your children" emails, but I think it's funny. It lasts five minutes, but the pictures just crack me up for months and years to come. I mean, tell me it doesn't sorta make you giggle:

So the funny thing about this was that Izzy was fine at first. She didn't even cry when I put her on his lap. She was as happy as could be. And then Aiden freaked out (which, by the way, is totally not in his nature...he's usually so friendly and easy going with new people) and Izzy lost it. I am sure she thought that if AIDEN was losing it, there must be cause. Ha!

So then Connor decided he was going to give Santa a hug and was perfectly thrilled. Aiden agreed to give him a hug and I thought we had it all figured out! So I put Aiden back on Santa's lap. At first he was fine, and then by the time the photographer snapped this photo below (grrrr), he was losing it again.
The most ironic part about those two photos above is that Connor doesn't seem excited one bit and I can tell you that this couldn't have been further from the truth. He was THRILLED. He talked to him and was SO EXCITED. He talked about it for the rest of the afternoon!
My mother-in-law made these ADORABLE Christmas jammies and I'm obsessed with them! The kids will wear them for Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning too!
I think this year will be the last year we have any screaming/crying Santa pictures and should I say out loud that I'm a little sad about it? I do think it is pretty darn hilarious! What about your kids? Do they cry?

Same deal for us! Actually sending it out as a Christmas card! Claire was fine, but as soon as Max started crying, she became hysterical!

I love me a good crying santa picture! One of my twin boys usually delivers, but this year both boys were thrilled to see Santa. I also think sometimes the Santa's face is even funnier than the crying child, like they have no idea what to do. good times. ;)
And because I don't think I can comment ever without saying something about their cute outfits. Your mother in law is so talented!! I just love everything she makes for them.

Isn't that funny that they feed off each other like that? I love that it'll be your Christmas card! I would SO do that!

LOVE those jammies, they are adorable! We can start a 'mean' moms club - I couldn't help but giggle when Colton broke down on Santa's lap. I asked the girl to snap a picture quick - too funny not to have! Your kids are precious.
Thanks for linking up with us!
