To follow along on my Second Half Marathon journey, click HERE. This week, here is what I was supposed to do:
Monday - I rested.
Tuesday - I did 50 minutes of running. We did 3.92 miles (we did a loop on the trail - up one side of the lake, crossed a bridge to the other side of the lake, and then came back...and then did that same loop one more time). Then we came back and did core and stretching. For core, we did pushups, planks, bicycles, squats, and the superman.
Friday - I rested.
Saturday - I was SOOOO tired when my alarm went off at 5:45am and I wanted nothing more than to stay in bed and sleep a little longer - especially after all the champagne hubby and I drank on Valentine's Day. But, I got my bootie in gear and didn't allow myself any excuses (hence the, "I didn't stay in bed!! I did 8 miles!!" face in the photo below). We did our 8 mile run and then did stretching. I didn't do my core with my group, because I needed to rush to get the kids from Mr. Howard so he could go to work.
Sunday - Tomorrow hubby is going to a car show with Aiden and my mom's taking Connor to the movies, so Izzy and I are going to go on a run! I plan on getting more than 35 minutes in!
