Week 7 Half Marathon Training

To follow along on my Second Half Marathon journey, click HERE. This week, here is what I was supposed to do:

Here is what I really did:

Monday - I rested.
Tuesday- This was our speed day. We ran hills for 60 minutes. This was a bad workout night. My running partner wasn't feeling it and my calves were SO tight, I could barely go. I ran up the hills and did that pretty well - but when we got back to the straight, flat part - I just walked the whole way back. This run made me super worried about Saturday's run because of how badly I felt. The headlamp I wore Tuesday night broke about 35 minutes into my night run. Ummm.
Wednesday - It was supposed to be zumba day. But no one showed up. I think I'm going to cancel my zumba group! Instead I came home and did 30 minutes of walk/run.
Thursday- I came home from work, changed, did speech therapy with the kids, and got some core exercises in.
Friday- I was supposed to rest this day because of our 11 miler the next day.
Saturday - I did 11.03 miles! It rained for part of our run, but honestly, about 5 miles in, I was so warm - I welcomed the rain! Wasn't our view spectacular (minus the dark clouds!):
Not the most flattering photo I have ever taken - but no one looks perfect after running 11 miles!
Sunday - I rested. I could barely move my pelvis. Too much information? Yikes. My legs felt great! My glutes were pretty great! My knees were great! But that darn pelvis - Eeeek!
