On our second day in St. Louis, we did an Anheuser Busch Factory tour. I had planned on booking us a Beermaster Tour, but I didn't realize that they sell out and I missed my opportunity! Bad Mrs. Howard. So, instead we did the free one. It was still awesome!! I just wish we had been able to do the other one! Also if we had had more time, I would have liked to go to Grant's Farm where the Budweiser Clydesdales and a lot of other animals are!
Afterwards we went to a sushi restaurant at Drunken Fish in Ballpark Village. It was delicious!

After lunch we went off to our Trolley Tour that I had booked. It was REALLY warm. It was probably in the mid 90's with a LOT of humidity. That was the only drawback to the tour I booked. No air conditioning and a ridiculously HOT day! Other than that, we had a great time. I love booking tours in the cities I visit because you ALWAYS learn something you couldn't possibly have learned otherwise! I've never regretted a tour. Ever. I booked our tour with St. Louis Carriage Company and had a great driver!
I was a HOT SWEATY MESS (and not hot in the modern sense) at the end of the tour.
Afterwards, Mr. Howard's parents went off on their own to a casino and hubby and I watched a St. Louis Cardinal game against the Philadelphia Phillies. We had ridiculously good sliders and fries. It really was A LOT of fun and I'm soo glad we did it, but it was hot. We purposely got seats behind home plate so that we'd be in the shade and we were - but there was no breeze. So 90 degrees with no breeze is still just hot. We did have really good seats though! (I love how you can see the arch behind the bleachers). What a cool stadium!
We ended the night walking back to the hotel and having a drink with my in-laws at the bar in the air conditioning! Ahhhh. This was our last night in St. Louis! I really could have done another half day because I didn't get my Mississippi River tour in, but other than that, we had a blast! It'll give us something to go do next time we're in the area.
