Fourth of July

On the 4th of July, we got dressed in our fun outfits and did a little photoshoot.

Connor was working on writing in his journal with his Grandma, so the twins and I snapped a photo! I am not sure why it's so hard for my kids to take pictures with me, but then I ask them to take one with Daddy and we get the perfect photo the FIRST time. How does that happen? Look at their faces!? What is going on?
See? This was the first one I took. Three smiling kids all looking at the camera.
Grandma even got in on the action! See one perfect shot - all three kids smiling and looking.
We spent the morning at my parents' house celebrating Isabella and Aiden's birthday with my sister, Andy, my mother-in-law, and our little family - but I'm going to do a whole separate post on that. Afterwards, the kids were exhausted! Isabella gives the best cuddles to her daddy.
That night we went to the fairgrounds for fireworks. We had to get there pretty early to get good seats, which is always tricky with littles to entertain. We broke out the phones and showed them videos, after running around for an hour or so. The show was absolutely great and we had so much fun! This was the first time Aiden and Isabella were actually interested in the fireworks and could sit through the whole show.
